A genuine traditional cooking

Our restaurant is located inside the ancient distillery and the wine cellars at the ground floor of the main house.

The charming environment, characterized by the vaulted ceilings, the old big wine barrels and  the collection old farming hand crafts and tools, makes our restaurant the right place to take a rest appreciating the peaceful atmosphere of the rural environment while tasting the cooking based as much as possible on the simple tastes of local tradition and the products of our farming activity.

With the help of this peaceful and charming environment, our purpose is to offer our guests the friendly and familiar atmosphere of older times and places, where everyone, alone or together with friends, may spend some nice and relaxing time, tasting genuine food and wines in a simple and warm place.
 
During the summer season, the beautiful garden adds the opportunity of dining with the view of the sunset on the Monte Baldo. 
 
Opening
 
The restaurant is open from the beginning of April to the end of October, when the restaurant give place to the distillery to allow the yearly renewal of the traditional distillation of the Grappa “Rugiada delle Alpi”.
 
Open daily at 06:30 p.m. - On Saturday and Sunday open also at 12:00 noon
 
Monday closed.
 
On request booking of groups in other dates and times is accepted. 

Our dishes

Hereby a list of dishes that you will typically find in our menu. Other dishes may be added, on a daily basis, according to the availability of fresh food and the fantasy of our chef.

Antipasti - Starters (prices from 6,00 to 8,00 euro)

  • Tortelloni caserecci di castagne al burro di malga - House made chestnuts "Tortelloni" with mountain butter.
  • Tagliatelle al salmì di anatra - "Tagliatelle" with duck souce
  • Risotto al pasticcio di rape rosse su letto di crema allo zafferano - Risotto with beetroot and saffran cream
  • Penne saltate in padella con verdure fresche dell'orto e pecorino - Short pasta with garden vegatables and cheese "Pecorino"
  • Orzetto mantecato al marzemino con foglie di formaggio Garda Stagionato - Barely to wine Marzeminio with speck and slices of cheese garda stagionato
  • Lasagne al forno - Baked lasagne
  • Minestrone di patate e fagioli alla Tignalese - Beans and potatoes soup with pasta "Tignale" style

Secondi piatti - Main courses ( prices fro 7,50 to 11,00 euro)

  • Anatra in salmì con polenta di farina della casa - Duck in "Salmì" (long cooking in red wine) with our polenta
  • Pollo in agrodolce con scalogno caramellato e funghi - Sweet and sour chicken with shallots and mushrooms
  • Filetto di maiale al fumo di grappa Riserva con salsa al pepe verde - Pork fillet cuts with green pepper souce
  • Straccetti di manzo marinati alle erbe aromatiche - Marinated cuts beef tenderloin
  • Filetto di trota all'aceto di miele in crosta di noci - Trout fillet in wallnut sauce
  • Trota salmonata al cartoccio o alla griglia - Baked or grilled salmon trout
  • Pescato del lago di Garda (secondo la disponibilità del giorno) - Fresh fish from Garda Lake (according to the availability odf the day)
  • Polenta di farina della casa con formaggio fuso - Our grilled polenta with local cheese

  • Spiedo con polenta (su prenotazione - min. 10 pax) - Typical meat spiss with our polenta (on reservation - min. 10 pax)
